On August 27-29, 2019, New-Rule Expert, General Amêyi Célestin Guidimey, participated in the Regional Conference for Police and Gendarmes from Senegal and Burkina Faso. As Police Technical Advisor (PTA) to the Roadmaps to Security in Senegal and Burkina Faso program, he continues to apply his expertise in democratic policing and law enforcement to provide practical advice for better regional cooperation. Joining national experts from Senegal and Burkina Faso at the conference, he shared findings from his initial study of the status of collaboration among law enforcement, and he moderated further dialogue on, and exploration of, issues of road security, criminality, and corruption in the region.
